A collaborative animation with Fraser Taylor of hand painted 16mm clear leader transferred to video with sound designed by myself. My approach to this collaboration was inspired by previous animation's Fraser had done on paper, where he plays with traditional methods of drawing and detachment. The sound designed for the piece responded to his aesthetic by interpreting the symbolism as simultaneously brutal and silent, leaving viewers feeling intimate and removed. I wanted to both repel audiences with a wall of noise and engulf them with rare instances of abrupt release.

CREVICE was shown as part of Bilingual, Art at the Intersection of Painting and Video at the Glass Curtain Gallery and compound at the Alfedena Gallery both in Chicago.
